Ray Crowley is an entrepreneur and innovation leader with 13+ years of experience bridging technology and capital markets. A former registered Capital Markets Dealing Representative, he has originated and executed deals on the TSX and NASDAQ, including a $100M acquisition and multiple go-public transactions. His expertise spans corporate development, investor relations, and advanced materials innovation (graphene, 2D nanomaterials, and deep tech). Ray has introduced millions in growth capital to deeptech startups, founded ventures in software, blockchain, and nanotechnology, and built partnerships with global leaders such as John Deere, Cargill, and Syngenta. He excels at connecting capital with breakthrough technologies to create lasting value for startups, public companies, and corporate venture partners.
Michael Vogel is a Canadian entrepreneur, electrical engineer and technology pioneer who bridges deep tech innovation with venture growth strategy. He is best known for founding Netcoins, one of Canada’s most trusted crypto brands, which he led from startup through a go-public transaction and acquisition, driving growth to nearly $1 billion in valuation. As founder of Encore Ventures, Michael scales innovative startups across fintech, blockchain, software, hardware, and real estate through a venture studio model. His ventures have generated nine-figure revenue and shareholder value, and he continues to operate Coinstream, a leading US crypto platform. Recognized as a thought leader in business and technology, Michael has advised banking executives, policymakers, and the public on the future of finance. He was selected by the US State Department to represent Canada at Global Entrepreneurship Summit and is frequently cited in national media.
Professor Wu is the discoverer of two breakthrough 2D nano materials shaping the future of nanoelectronics and photonics. An award-winning scientist and serial patent inventor, recognized with the ORAU Ralph E. Powe Award, SME Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award, and MINE Young Scientist Award.
With a unique blend of electrical engineering and nanomaterials expertise, he has pioneered scalable synthesis methods for crystalline 2D nanomaterials and leads research at Purdue on nanomanufacturing and integration of advanced 1D/2D materials for sensors, electronics, energy, and catalysis.
He serves on advisory boards for Advanced Engineering Materials and Advanced Materials Technologies, and was named a 2025 IEEE Nanotechnology Distinguished Lecturer.
